    Schuran calcium reactor

Very good pump, small size, extremely quiet. This purchase was a replacement for calcium reactor pump on a Schuran Calcium reactor. I was lucky that Aquacave had this pump in stock.

Good pump but BIG head loss

Posted by SethTheWIneGuy on Sep 5th 2011

Pump produces very little heat, which I find important for a submersible. I was surprised by the HUGE loss of flow with 6 ft of head. I'm getting less than half the GPH than the published rating. Unfortunately, this problem renders the pump useless to me.
