Good pump. Use it to replace water during water changes. Too loud to be used as your full-time return pump imo.

Purchased for a 75g tank. I have 1900 in powerheads and I did not want a lot of flow thru the sump so went with a Mag 3. Looking back I should have gone with a Mag 5. Had to adjust the overflow gph valve down some, but it works. This pump would be perfect for a sump on a 55g tank running with strong powerheads. Mag pumps are the best.
