Turbelle® nanostream® combines aesthetics and function; it creates new ideas. This innovative circulation pump sets up a new record: At a diameter of only 70 mm (2.7 in.) it enables a water flow of 4,500 l/h (1,189 USgal./h) at an energy consumption of only 7 W.
The pump contains a very large prime strainer for the water drawn in which prevents premature soiling. The spherical shape permits an ingenious 3D setting of the direction of flow. As a standard feature, Turbelle® nanostream® is supplied with a magnetic holder, which enables uncomplicated attachment at any position on the aquarium pane.
Model 6055 has been fitted with an electronic control and a FishCare function when the motor is at a standstill. This pump can be electronically operated by Multicontroller as well as by Singlecontroller.

quality powerhead
Quality powerhead that consumes very little electricity compared to others such as Hydor. Hydor are ok but they don't last nearly as long, transfer more heat to the tank, & waste electricity. Yes it does mildly rattle for a second on startup but absolutely nothing at all compared to a Hydor of similar size - the Hydor would scare the hell outta the fish on startup, which is the initial reason I got rid of it. This Tunze runs very quiet & you can angle it in ways you only wish you could with other powerheads. Also makes a perfect powerhead for mixing saltwater in a 5 gal bucket - uses literally a fraction of the wattage of the Maxijet 1200's I used to use: 20 Watts for the MJ, or 3-5 Watts for the 6025.

Great little pump, and moddable too!
I got 2 for a pentagon corner tank a little out of their range. The brackets make adjusting the angle and such awesome, as you have so much freedom. Easily hold onto 1/2" acrylic walls too, in fact they dont even slide if i try to move only one of the magnets. And best of all, they are easily modified to change flow and flow characteristics.<br><br>One issue is that they do rattle some on startup, but so far mine have never remained running backwards, as the rattle comes when they are fixing that. After the few seconds to correct themselves, which even my modded ones do it just fine, they are quiet and pump all day long.<br><br>In hindsight i should have gotten at least 3, my tank shape and only 2 pumps leaves a trash gyre on the surface i have not been able to stop by adjusting the 2 6025s and my sump return.

Lots of power! Great for small tank!
Bought this to add some flow to my 24"x24"x10" AIO custom frag tank. I wasnt sure if it would be enough flow, but this thing really packs a punch! Its not bulky like most wavemakers, so it looks great also. And I love the spherical shape. It really does allow for amazing versatility. And we all love the days of not having to worry about annoying suction cups to keep our powerheads and other things in place! Another great product at a great price from aquacave! Thank you aquacave for continuing to offer great deals and amazing service.
